Sunday was a little bit of a nicer day, still not too warm, but we had to get the kids out of the house. We decided since it was free state park day we would check out one of the lakes. The girls were thrilled and didn't seem to care that it was only in the 60's.
Chris had fun building with the sand almost as much as the girls!
Caroline decided that her crocs needed to be included in the castle building, so she brought them down.
When Daddy is around there is always fun to be had, like racing...
And being tossed in the air!
Daddy took a little break and the girls played some more in the sand.
Charlotte was very interested in looking for snail shells in the water and they found quite a few. Caroline was just interested in burying the sunglasses in the water.
After a couple hours we decided it was time to go and packed up. Caroline fell asleep on the way home, and I think Chris was ready too also. He commented that he is more tired after a day with the girls than a day at work! They sure are fun though, most of the time!
