Seaport Village

Yesterday we met Lisa and Joe at Seaport Village to have lunch and walk around. They have a carousel there and we took the girls on it. Charlotte wasn't too sure what to make of it, but had a pretty good time!We took some pictures before lunch. We were all dressed in festive colors!
What you can't see is Joe dangling Joli upside down behind Lisa so that Charlotte would laugh!
Our resident monkey....
We had a yummy lunch and Charlotte had a blast walking around and looking at Joli.

Saturday

Yesterday we hung out and then went to do some shopping. When we came home we were greeted with a big box of clothes from Amy! Charlotte thought the box was awesome. She thought the clothes were awesome too and made it somewhat impossible to go through them. It was like Christmas early! Thanks Amy!
Later in the evening we went to dinner with Willie and Lynsie. It was pretty cold and rainy all day yesterday, so Charlotte got to wear her new jacket!

Once we got back from dinner, Lisa and Joe came over. Charlotte got her hands on some wrapping paper and thought it was way better than her new Mega Blocks! I can't wait for Christmas! Do they make organic, edible paper and bows?
Since it was so chilly we had a fire outside and toasted marshmallows. Joli's tactic of sticking the marshmallow in the fire for half a second, pulling it out screaming in joy "I toasted it" was priceless. She was not very happy when Willie toasted her one for real and didn't understand why it was hot and squishy.
It was pretty cold outside, but we had a blast sitting outside for a few hours!

Rock climbing!

This morning we met Willie and Lynsie for breakfast, and then had the brilliant idea to go Rock Climbing! I was very excited, but once we got there and Charlotte had just woken up from sleeping in the car, I figured I wouldn't get much climbing in, so we hung out and played upstairs.
Chris surprised Charlotte when he climbed up the wall!
Lynsie climbed for a while and then came up to hang out with us while the boys were still climbing! Charlotte is very squirmy!
Willie was glad to have something to pull up on besides the pull up bar!
Chris was glad to get to do manly things!

Happy Thanksgiving!

We had Thanksgiving at our house this year! It was a New Hampshire reunion in California! Charlotte decided to start the day off right and woke up at 5:15! Chris got the turkey ready and was very much in the Thanksgiving spirit! We tried to take a couple pictures of Charlotte's shirt, but it ended with Baylie knocking her over onto the concrete. Did not make for a happy baby!

Charlotte absolutely loves Joli, in case you hadn't picked up on that before. Joli was very nice to her today and blew bubbles for her!

Preggo had to have Joe run to the store to get her Fritos and Bean Dip... because what we had didn't quite sound good enough at the moment!
I cooked dinner and had a lot of help from everyone! Lynsie came out to visit Willie and they were a great help at making Grandma's rolls, which came out a little small, but tasted PERFECT!
Alex and Corey watched Football and entertained Charlotte!
Charlotte thought the meal was delicious! Lisa noticed that she was taking handfuls and sneaking them to Baylie, who was stratiegicly positioned in between her and Joli!
After dinner it was naptime!
We had a great time and enjoyed having everyone over! It was a successful Thanksgiving! We are off to bed, hoping Charlotte sleeps a little later tomorrow!

Sunshine!

After the Gala we decided that Sunday would be a lazy day. We only left the house to go out to dinner because we didn't want to cook! Chris and Charlotte didn't really get dressed either!!! It was a nice, relaxing day!

Party!

Last night we attended Chris' holiday party for work. Lisa and I went to get our hair done in the afternoon and rushed home to see Chris before he had to leave for a group picture that never happened. I got dressed and partially make-up-ed in about 5 minutes so we could take a couple family pictures before it got too dark, and before he had to run out the door, an hour ahead of us. Heels and soft ground do not mix! I didn't fall, but kept sinking and Charlotte just wanted to grab my necklace!
Lisa's sister Elena came down from L.A. to watch Charlotte and Joli. I actually put Charlotte to bed right before we ran out the door, and she woke up twice while we were gone! I was very nervous when Lisa's cell phone rang, but it was just a blubbering Joli who missed her Mommy and Daddy!
Joe got back home yesterday morning, and Lisa MADE him go to the party because she wanted to dress up! The boys looked so handsome!
Joe drove Lisa, our friend Ari, and myself since Chris was already at the party.
Abby was there too!
It was wonderful, they had an open bar with margaritas!
Us girls....
Abby, Chris and Shane.
The Mommies and Daddies...
We had a great time seeing our friends we hadn't seen in a while. Nikki and Andi were there too!
Dinner was yummy and Lisa actually ate some food! It was exciting. We joked all night about Chris having two wives, since Joe has been away and he has been stuck with both us us!
We had a great time, and it was so nice to have an evening out!

Fun Morning!

This morning we went and got Joli and met Abby at the Library to listen to our favorite band, Hullabaloo! Luckily, there was a playground on the other side of the library and we killed some time until the concert started! It was Charlotte's first time in the swing!
I was a very brave Mommy and didn't even use Clorox wipes to clean the very dirty swing off!
She loved it!
We went to the other side of the library to wait for the concert to start! Lilly was so nice and shared her leaf with Charlotte!
Steve from Hullabaloo passed out scarves for the kids to use during the concert. Joli thought this was a great opportunity to cover Syrus' head with them!
Aren't the girls so cute! Lilly will be one in about a month and is getting cuter every day!
I think music class is paying off. Charlotte knew exactly what to do with the shakers! She shook for a while then chewed on them. Typical!
Joli had a great time and was sure to snatch up anything that was laying on the ground and put it to use!
We had a blast and Charlotte hasn't napped yet, she just loves having Joli around!
