Blueberry Picking

Last week after we picked Charlotte up at Ballet, the girls and I headed up to pick blueberries. It was a perfect day for it, almost felt like fall! Caroline caught on quickly, but she didn't understand not to pick the green ones!

 They both did a lot of tasting!

 Charlotte constantly pushes Caroline in the direction she wants her to go, well this time Caroline was doing it back, and she is strong!

Caroline took a potty break on a rock for a bit...

Once we had enough berries for the day, we went to pay and get popsicles!

They sure were a mess! Can't wait to go back!

Grammy and Papa's

As you can see, there are quite a few of almost the same picture. Last weekend we went to Grammy and Papa's. We got there on I think the hottest day of the year! Needless to say, being 32 weeks pregnant in the heat is not much fun. I spent a lot of time floating in the lake. Caroline just loved the water and Papa got her to put her face in and blow bubbles. By the end of the weekend we were dunking her under and she just loved it. Charlotte was a little fish and ended the weekend snorkeling. Hannah and Jack came over on Saturday but I spent a majority of the day in the water and didn't take one picture! Next time... What a great weekend!

Slip N Slide

When we were at Mimi's a few weeks ago, Chris had the grand idea of making a Slip 'N Slide out of some tarps for the girls. They had a great time, the only problem was, they had no bathing suits! So it was quite interesting! The loved running around naked and had so much fun! Chris brought out the dish soap which was also a highlight of the afternoon. Of course Mimi got nothing accomplished since we had the hose, but it was a great time had by all and lots of laughs!

Raspberry Picking

A few weeks ago, Kelly and her boyfriend Mike came up to visit for a couple days. We had great time with them and I was able to enjoy some adult time while the kids had a babysitter! The kids loved seeing them, and I think they served as a great method of birth control!!! 

That week Grandpa also came home from the rehab home after having Pneumonia. The girls missed him greatly and were so happy to see him home. I think Grandpa is happy to be home too!

 That afternoon we headed up to pick raspberries. Charlotte and Caroline were great helpers.

 Caroline had her own designated basket since all she did was eat or smush the berries.

We got lots and lots of berries and while the girls and I napped that afternoon Grandma and Chris set to work making jam!
