June Gloom!

We are almost at the end of June, and surprisingly it has been pretty nice. Today was an exception. It was June Gloom at it's best! We decided last night to bring the kids to the beach today, and so we did.
They didn't seem to mind the sprinkles and cloudy skies, and we were the only ones on the beach!



Abby was equipped with all sorts of things today, including a story!

Charlotte has been watching Chris dance!
Lilly was in time out, believe it or not! She had a fascination with throwing sand today and thought it was hilarious!
Charlotte was obsessed with waving and talking to every helicopter that flew by! Then she would cry when it left.
We had a nice morning, although I was reminded all throughout my day why I don't like the beach, there was sand everywhere, and it is different than play sand! You can't get it off!
This afternoon we played outside. I love this picture... minus the binky!
Charlotte played while I took pictures... she didn't really cooperate with smiling, but oh well!


She used to be afraid to crawl through the tunnel, now she goes back and forth, and the dog even uses it too!

Charlotte likes to play with anything but her toys. She found my lens cap and tried to put it on her head?? It ended up caught on her bow and it was pretty funny just dangling from her head!

Concert in the Park!

Tonight we joined Abby and the kids for concert in the park. We had a great time. The kids were wild and crazy and enjoyed the playground and dancing to the music! They also enjoyed wresteling with Abby who took on the role of Daddy tonight! When we got home I download a new photo editing program and had some fun...

Thursday fun!

This morning we had music class. Charlotte was pretty tired. We are just about ready to go from two naps to one, but she still isn't quite ready to give it up completely! She enjoyed her boat ride in the drum though, binky and all!She liked the animal shakers Ms. Summer had and was very good at putting it on her head!
After nap we played outside. Charlotte took off for the sandbox!
I brought out the rice also and she enjoyed sitting in it and pouring. She just loves to pour!

We played with Baylie and enjoyed the nice weather!



After we were done with the sand and rice we went for a bike ride! Charlotte was very excited when we passed a nice little dog, but then got very upset when we walked away!
We got to video chat with Daddy and she had so much fun screaming and waving at the computer screen!

New Lens

Yesterday afternoon I put my new lens on my camera and tried it out (thanks Dad!). Needless to say, I took quite a few pictures! Charlotte played in her sandbox, she is quite into pouring sand. I have to say she does a pretty good job! She also surprised me yesterday when she was actually following directions! I know it depends on if she wants to or not, but she was smelling the roses, putting her dolly in the stroller, giving Baylie kisses, and she totally was comprehending what I was telling her! Crazy! She also likes to grind her teeth... wonder where she got that from!!!
