The Beach...

Sorry for my severe lack of blogging... On Wednesday it was the perfect beach day. We packed our stuff and headed off to sit in the sun. Apparently when your Daddy is at the beach, that means you must sift shells, dig holes, and stay at the beach all day long. That is what we did. It was almost 5 o'clock by the time we finally got home. Charlotte had a blast and was in bed early!!!

Egg Hunt and Tea Party!

Surprise! This morning when Charlotte woke up Grammy and Papa were here! We headed to an egg hunt at our local park!Charlotte wants NOTHING to do with Chris or I... she is all about Grammy and "BaBo".
She waited very patiently for the egg hunt to start.
Grammy and I kept her entertained...
Ready, Set, Go! Charlotte loved collecting eggs!
She loves opening the eggs to see what is inside! Some highlights included bracelets and stick on earrings! They looked so cute I am trying to convince Chris to get her ears pierced :) He isn't budging.
We managed to take a somewhat successful family shot too!
Charlotte's favorite thing is to swing while walking. Papa was getting a little tired!
She only let him have a short break before requesting to swing again!
When we got home Charlotte had a Tea Party with Grammy and Papa while we got lunch ready.
Her favorite part is the "soey", or sugar!

I think Charlotte eats more sugar than she does drink tea, or in today's case, Pink Lemonade!


Lisa taught her how to pour since Joli wasn't pleased that Charlotte got tea everywhere. She now knows how to have a proper tea party!
If we could just cut down on the "soey" intake we will be all set!

Lots of fun!

Yesterday morning we went over to Lisa's to borrow their plumbing snake, since of course now that Chris is home, our house starts to have all sorts of issues! Even though I told Joli that Chris was coming home, she didn't remember and was so excited to see him! Charlotte has decided that since she has her Daddy back she doesn't need Mommy. Well, she ditched both of us for Lisa!
Markus was just happy to see a man. Chris couldn't believe how big he has gotten!
After Charlotte's nap we played outside for the rest of the day.
She had Daddy doing all her favorite things, pushing her around the backyard in circles in any one of her selected ride on toys! Chris thinks she has too many options to chose from...
They played in the grass for a while and threw the ball for Baylie.


I made dinner and it was so nice we sat outside! Charlotte was very silly.
She ate all her vegetables and beets so she got to have a popsicle for dessert.
She wasn't too thrilled about sharing with Mama but she did once or twice!
She kept leaning in for hugs from Daddy too!

When we were done eating we played some more. Chris had some music on with dinner and Charlotte wanted to dance when she was finished. So of course that meant Chris had to dance with her!
She is so happy to have her Daddy back to toss her in the air!
Chris got a little tired, she kept asking for more and more and more!
Despite his sore shoulder, I don't think he minded too much!
Then they moved on to airplane rides! (Baylie is Chris' other little shadow, there is always a trail behind Chris... Charlotte than Baylie!)
We tested out the new climbing house. Charlotte pretended she couldn't climb up to the slide but Auntie Abby taught her how last week so I made her at least try. Of course she did it too!
She kept wanting Mama and Daddy to go down the slide. We obliged and squeezed our way through the opening, however then you have to try to stop yourself at the bottom without hitting Charlotte because she doesn't like to move!

She eventually picked out a new ride in/on toy and it was the wagon, so off for a walk we went!

We met lots of new friends along the way! Charlotte wanted them all to follow us!
About halfway through she wanted to get out of the wagon and run! She of course had no shoes on but was happy as could be!
She fell about 3 times, and on the third time there was a bit of blood, so we went back to the house, applied copious amounts of princess bandaids, and got ready to sit down on the couch. Oh, but Charlotte had other plans, she headed right back for the door!
This time we brought Baylie for a little walk and Charlotte was so excited to walk her!
We came home and watched a half hour of Cinderella before bed since she had been asking all day to watch it! We then went and dealt with the plumber and standing sewage under our house for the rest of the night and finally went to bed!!!
