Calendar

I have spent a lot of time the past couple days making Charlotte a calendar! Chris has been wonderful and has been entertaining her while I work. I finally finished! It is just in its temporary home as I don't want to put new holes in the wall when we will be moving soon. Hopefully it will help her understand when Chris will be leaving for a trip, and the days she has school. She is learning the concept of yesterday, today and tomorrows. She currently says everything that has happened in the past happened "last night". Hopefully this will help! I figured we would start with weather and seasons first, as well as having a monthly theme. For may it is Flowers. Just to direct us with some activities to keep her busy!

Strawberry Picking!

On Friday we headed up to Carlsbad to go strawberry picking! Charlotte was very excited. We attempted to get a family photo by using the self timer. Came out blurry but oh well!

Charlotte apparently thought Caroline shouldn't be in the picture!

Take two.

 Of course we forgot the Ergo, so Chris held Caroline. She was very fussy. He thought maybe a strawberry might help!

And then Charlotte got tired and it was time to go home! She fell asleep in the car, but of course she woke up when we tried to bring her in to bed. It made for a long afternoon!!!

Cleaning the yard.

We spent this morning cleaning the yard. Well, Chris cleaned, Charlotte helped a little bit with her own sponge and bucket, and I took pictures. We found a Black Widow spider a couple nights ago while we were playing hide and seek, so we wanted to take everything out and clean it. Eventually Caroline woke up and I spent the rest of the time taking pictures of the girls so I wouldn't get yelled at that there wasn't a new blog! 

Caroline 2 months!

I never know in baby terms how to determine exactly how old a baby is. Caroline was 8 weeks old yesterday, but technically she doesn't turn 2 months old until the 27th. So we took 2 month pictures anyway. It is around the right time! Caroline changes every day. She started off looking so much like Charlotte as a newborn but is starting to keep a little of the resemblance but is changing into her own little person! She has entered the smiling phase and is so cute with her little toothless grin! She will only sleep in her swing, in the Ergo or in her car seat in the car. She has to be moving. She has a doctor appointment Monday so we will see how much she has grown! She really is a sweet sweet baby.
