More Leaf Fun...

This time Killian was involved in the leaf activity. Poor baby got covered in leaves by his charming big sister! Chris had the leaf blower out again and the kids had fun running in the leaves as he was blowing them! I am not sure how much he got accomplished but the kids had a blast!

Leaves Day One

Living in the middle of the woods means that we have lots of leaves that started to fall in the beginning of the month. Chris borrowed Grandma's leaf blower a couple weeks ago and made a nice big leaf pile for the girls. They had a blast. Poor Chris got most of the yard done that morning and by the afternoon it was covered again! The girls didn't mind, that meant more leaves!

Last week I took some more photos of the girls and Killian. I don't like Mimi giving me a hard time for not taking enough pictures. Clearly she hasn't seen my hard drive...

Cider Party!

Saturday evening we went over to Lauren and Pete's for the Cider Party. Charlotte could hardly wait!
Four years ago we took a picture of Chris, Charlotte and I in the road with the leaves turning. We attempted to do the same picture this year as it was the first year in four years we have all been together in October in New Hampshire, or it hasn't been raining! We got ready for pictures and while Chris went and got Ellen I took a few of the kids.

 I think we were successful!
We were finally ready to go to the party!
The girls loved the truck full of apples.
And Charlotte loved holding her baby brother and showing him off!
Ellen made sure not to share him.
The girls found Papa in the crowd and insisted on both being held! It didn't seem like Papa minded!

Charlotte was ready to make cider. They gathered up their apples!

 And got to work!

 Cider pressing has delicious results!
Killian got passed around until he needed his diaper changed. Then he hung out on the table under the decorative grass for a while!
We continued making Cider into the evening!

Everyone had a great time and we got some yummy cider to take home. Papa brought apples from their tree in the yard and made some organic Cider! Only problem was the bag opened when Papa was dumping it and we got apples in the cider! Nothing a little strainer wouldn't fix, but I got a good laugh out of it!
Next year Killian will be getting in on the cider making!!
