Beach!

This afternoon after Charlotte woke up from her nap we headed to Coronado to pick Chris up from his golf game with his work buddies (check out his attire) and then headed to the beach so Dad could get a beach fix. It was pretty close to low tide so Grandpa brought Charlotte out to the water so she could splash around! I think it was the first time she actually played in the ocean! Even though we have been to the beach, she usually stays far away from the water unless she is in someone arms and then she clings for dear life! She only played for about 10 minutes before she had decided she had enough of the water and sand and wanted to leave. Once we got to the car though, she took her shovel and started back towards the sand. Crazy kid!

Music!

I actually took pictures at music today! Charlotte was so happy to see Anna! She even shared her Jamba Juice with her!Only for a little while though, then she wanted it back!
She gave it back to Anna and Anna gave her a kiss!
Charlotte was excited for music to start and stomped her feet and clapped her hands!
As soon as Ms. Summer started to sing the song about what was in her bag, Charlotte sat down and waited very patiently to get her instrument!
It was a clacker!
And out comes the bow!
The girls were so interested in the guitar today that Ms. Summer flipped it over while we sang... so they took that as an invitation to play it as a drum!
We got to play with an Ocean Drum today and it was the coolest thing ever!!! It was like a rainmaker drum!
Ms. Summer had a blue parachute type cloth and we put balls in the top and sang, Charlotte thought it was so much fun!
We danced and made rainbows!
She eventually got impatient waiting for an instrument!
And she had had enough of music and wanted to go to the playroom! She took a 3 1/2 hour nap afterwords!

Zoo and Ball Playing!!

Yesterday after Charlotte's nap we went to the Zoo to kill some time before dinner! We haven't been in a while since it is so crowded during the summer, but it wasn't too bad around dinner time! We checked out the Flamingos, they had babies! Then we went to see the monkeys! Charlotte actually liked the animals this time and waved to them!
She wasn't too sure if she was a fan of being on Chris' back. Grandpa entertained her though as we walked!
After the monkeys we checked out the snakes (don't ask me why?!) and Tortoises.
We were getting hungry so we headed to have Mexican for dinner!
After dinner we drove by the new playground that is almost finished and there weren't very many dogs/people at the park so we went home and got Baylie and Charlotte's bike and took a walk down.
Eventually Charlotte will stop being a princess and actually ride her bike!
I think she really likes to ride her bike because she can play with her helmet!
And push the bike!
We threw the ball for Baylie across the field and Charlotte tried her best to keep up!
She ran back and forth from Chris to Grandpa!
Giving Baylie kisses doesn't always work out well. Sometimes Baylie doesn't cooperate when Charlotte leans in for a kiss!

I decided that being swung around when you are so little has got to be similar to a amusement park ride. Charlotte doesn't really know what to do when the spinning is done and she can't walk because she is so dizzy!

Charlotte got a turn to throw the ball too! She loves playing with Baylie!
Once another lady with a dog off his leash showed up we hit the road, thinking it would be best to end the evening on a positive note and not with a dog fight!
