Happy Halloween!

This morning we went to Lisa's for a Halloween Party!

Lisa carved a pumpkin for the kids to play in...

Charlotte was more interested in the toys!

Chris and I went as doctors since he had all the right stuff!

After the party we came home and carved our pumpkin.

Charlotte thought it was great fun...

But really she wanted to just eat it!

Baylie enjoyed it too!

Once we were done with carving, we got Charlotte in her ladybug costume!

Chris got his costume on, and Charlotte was terrified of him.Lisa and Joli came over and went Trick-or Treating! Eventually Charlotte warmed up to Chris, but she was still checking him out quite frequently!

Stroller Halloween Party!

Today we had a Halloween party with our stroller group. I offered to take Joli with us so Lisa could get ready for her Halloween party tomorrow! I borrowed a friends double stroller and the girls were ready to go! Joli kept wanting to get out and exercise with us! She was so funny. She loved all the kids and was the most outgoing kid of the bunch! One mom asked her how old she was and she told her two, and then the mom looked at me like "is she telling the truth??" She couldn't believe how well Joli talked and how tall she was for being two (almost three). I'm not even her mom and I'm proud!!!Charlotte was not really very happy in the stroller, which resulted in me wearing her for most of class. After we were done she sat in her stroller and passed out treats to all the kids... Ok, so she just chewed on her straps, but we can pretend!

Vitamin D

Yesterday we decided to sit outside and play to soak up some vitamin D. We are trying not to get sick!!! Charlotte enjoyed the fresh air and watching Baylie! She got a new bell after music class and thought it was the awesome!

We try to do tummy time.... to help crawl... but she isn't really into it. She prefers to chew on things, and this is what happens...
She much prefers her back!
Baylie came over for a quick hello. She changed her mind once Charlotte touched her.

Brrr!

This morning when we woke up it was in the high 50's out. Chris thought that Charlotte needed to be bundled up, because he was cold. Here she is waiting to eat her breakfast with slippers and a hat on!

Chris used the excuse "I never got to when I was little" to sit on the counter and eat his breakfast. Charlotte joined him when she was done!

Since it was finally chilly, I put Charlotte in her fleece pumpkin outfit!

After her morning nap, we went to listen to Hullabaloo play another concert! Charlotte had so much fun! She was jumping up and down and squealing!!! She also enjoyed watching all the other kids sing and dance!

Fairy Baby

After Charlotte had a much needed nap this afternoon we went to a Halloween Party at our favorite Children's store, So Childish. Charlotte has three Halloween costumes, but they are all too warm for our SoCal weather, so Charlotte got another costume today. We got her wings at Summers Past, and then I made her headband. I was very shocked that she left both on and didn't fiddle with either!She was very into staring at Joli, Lisa and Baylie was was not being a cooperative baby for pictures.

Joli is being a cat for Halloween! She was so cute! Charlotte tried to hold her hand and Joli said "nice to meet you!"
This was totally unprompted.
Chris made some silly noise and Charlotte finally smiled!!
After we took pictures at home we went to the party!
Kitty Joli enjoyed the crafts and cupcakes!
Our favorite kids band, Hullabaloo, was playing and Chris thought he was going to be the only parent singing along, but he was so wrong!
We had a great time singing and dancing and seeing all the little babies and kids dressed up! Charlotte came home and passed out... hoping she sleeps better tonight than she did last night!!!

Summer's Past Pumpkin Patch... Again!

Chris got home from a trip late last night and Charlotte was very excited to see him when she woke up, (one of the 6 or so times). This morning after I slept in and Chris played with Charlotte, we decided to take a drive out to Summer's Past to get a piece for Charlotte's Halloween costume, and also to look at some more pumpkins. Chris has never been, so we though it would be fun to go! There weren't very many pumpkins left, but we had fun!
