Climbing!

Yesterday we went to our last Gymboree class until we get back to San Diego. Charlotte was really trying to climb! She really liked the small tactile balls so I put them on the steps for some incentive! She even climbed up the big incline wall!
Charlotte and Anna enjoyed the rocking horse! I was so surprised when Charlotte went right over and tried to climb on! Anna though it looked like fun so she joined her! They had a blast!
Charlotte hate's doing the "freeze" dance in class... she only will tap on the air log for a few seconds and then runs off. But at home she does it all the time!
Parachute time is always a hit!

Charlotte really likes to go under the parachute before everyone else.
She likes to hide and cover herself up... crazy kid!
She remembered Anna had a name tag and of course wanted it!
We are sad to be going back east and not being able to do Gymboree anymore! I really wish I started her in it earlier... it's really awesome!

Abby's

Last night we went down to Abby's to play. It was so hot here. Syrus wanted to get in the pool so Abby filled it up. The little girls really just wanted to hang out in towels...Charlotte loves having her towel wrapped all around her now!
Charlotte thinks Auntie Abby or Mama Lisa are a close second to her real mama! She actually yelled "MAMA MAMA" to Lisa when she went out to her car...
Syrus was loving playing with Markus! It was so sweet! Markus didn't mind either!
The kids ran around naked for quite a while!
Uh... Sorry Markus, your sister wants you to like princesses!
Since we aren't going to be here for Lisa's birthday, we had a little celebration last night! Abby made her famous brownies!
Lisa wished for peace and quite!
Just a glimpse of the craziness. Abby's friend Julie's, son Solomon, came over to hang out. Charlotte flirted with him like crazy! She just loved him to pieces!
She loved Abby's brownies too!
Syrus of course wanted the blue candles...
Charlotte's tooth as of this morning was just about ready to cut through, I could see it. Hopefully she will be in a happy mood the rest of the week!

Willie

I think Charlotte is in love.... We went over to Lynsie and Willies last weekend to use their Vitamix blender to make applesauce. Charlotte enjoyed herself. I think she has a little crush...

Skype!

This afternoon while we were at open gym at Gymboree, Chris called from Skype! He got the internet working finally! We left and drove home and video chatted with him! Charlotte was thrilled!
She thought she should show Daddy all her things and tried to give him some water from her cup.
She gave him her lion stuffed animal so Chris started "roaring". Charlotte thought it was hilarious!
She gave Daddy kisses through the computer! We eventually had to go after about a half hour of chatting because Charlotte was getting cranky and demanding my attention. I eventually found out why. Her plate was full at the start of dinner...
She had a half of a hot dog, about a half cup of macaroni and cheese, and about a quarter cup of peas and carrots, and she ate every last bit!

She was in a much better mood after dinner!

Tootsie Roll Pop

So, I felt like seeing how Charlotte would like a Tootsie Roll Pop (OK, I really wanted one, but I couldn't eat one in front of her so I had to give her one too!) I really bought them for the airplane, even though I am now regretting my decision. She made such a big sticky mess! I was getting her the little organic pops from Trader Joe's, but thought these would last much longer! She certainly liked it!

Charlotte lost her balance when she was trying to pick up a piece of bark and slammed her forehead into the cement. It made a lovely noise. She screamed for quite a bit, and had a bruise immediately. I got her the froggy ice pack and she did a great job holding it on the side of her head where there was no bump!
She recovered quickly, partially thanks to the sugar high she was on.

Charlotte twirled and danced in front of the rose bushes, and wouldn't listen to me when I told her to be careful and to step away.
She fell right into the bush and scraped her arm. Now she is really banged up!Don't worry Uncle Jim, we brushed our teeth after the lollipop was all gone!
