Front Porch Sittin'

When did she get so big?
Markus doesn't mind that the bounce seat is pink!
Charlotte's hair is getting really long!
We put the babies down for a nap and put a movie on for Joli and we rearranged the house! We took the dining room table out of the "dining room" and turned it into a playroom! Then we put together the small table and put it near the kitchen. There were lots of laughs as we took apart and put together furniture and moved it across the house!
Joli entertained herself with Chris' tools! Of course when Charlotte woke up she wanted to play too!
Markus tried out the bumbo seat but he is still a little small for it! Charlotte used it at this time, but she was shorter than Markus and the back of it served as a better headrest for her head! Markus wasn't too thrilled with it!
The girls tried out the new playroom and somehow her chair ended up on the side and her on top of it... it did create a nice littler barrier!
Joli and Charlotte thought the new playroom was pretty neat! And Lisa and I think it is pretty neat too... we can shut the door and still see the kids but not hear them! Wahoo!
During our moving shuffle we found some baby toys for Markus... Charlotte tried them out for him!
We had music class today. Charlotte was a nut. She started out happy, but it ended in tantrums and crying. Needless to say, she slept for just over 3 hours this afternoon!
Lisa came over to stay with Charlotte while I went to the dentist. Markus enjoyed the swing and the girls enjoyed pushing him in it... Charlotte and Joli are at the point where Charlotte really wants to play with Joli, and sometimes Joli plays with Charlotte, but she usually just finds her to be annoying and wants to boss her around, which Charlotte is usually not too thrilled with, and then she retaliates. It makes for a great sibling relationship!
The blog won't be updated for a few days. I am having laser eye surgery tomorrow and won't be able to use a computer for 3 days! Hopefully I will be back to taking pictures and blogging by next week!
Mama didn't feel like going for a bike ride in the heat so Charlotte pushed her bike around the yard instead! She was just as happy!
We played with Baylie too. Yesterday I threw the ball for her at 9pm because it was just too hot for her before that! We are not used to this weather out here!
Charlotte put Baylie's ball into her mesh bag and she thought it was hilarious. Baylie was not so thrilled and kept trying to get it out!

After about a minute Charlotte was over laughing and was mad because Baylie took the ball from her and the bag too!
I was hysterically laughing. It was so funny!
I distracted Charlotte with chalk and gave poor Baylie her ball back!
Syrus left some cars at our house from the other day and Charlotte just loves them!
I know Grandma doesn't like the crying pictures, but this just sums up Charlotte today!
And this picture is just to show that the scratches on Charlotte's neck are indeed self induced. When she gets cranky she scratches the back of her neck! I really have to keep her nails trimmed because she really leaves marks!
We had some dinner outside and Charlotte then watered the flowers.
Even with her two naps she still went to bed at her normal time. She was pretty good tonight. It still amazes me how much she can understand even though she isn't really talking yet. Tonight we were playing in the office and I told her that her granola bar wrapper was garbage and so she proceeded to go into the kitchen and throw it away! She then went into the bathroom when I asked her if she wanted to take a bath, and she even throws her clothes in the hamper when we take them off! Next goal is to teach her how to do her laundry!!!
Both girls were distracted by Abby's stuffed mushrooms... yum!
The greatest part about their new house is that it has stairs! A new concept! Charlotte didn't want Abby to tell her how she should go down the stairs, she wanted to go up them!
They have a great big front yard, but it isn't fenced in yet, so we had to keep a close watch on the escape artists so that they wouldn't run into the street!
Playing ball with Naudia is always a good option!
Charlotte and Lilly have a love hate relationship.
Charlotte was totally teething. Poor baby. I checked her mouth this morning and I could feel one of her top molars cutting through. She was just miserable.
Abby needs to check out the open container policy on the sidewalk!
Charlotte ran up and down the sidewalk while Lilly pushed the car. Of course neither of them wanted to go back home to take a bath!
They played in Lilly's room while we got the bath ready. Earlier in the evening they were jumping on Syrus' bed together and they were so darn cute! They were talking to each other and yelling and trying the best they could to jump. Lilly almost has it, Charlotte just bends her knees but doesn't leave the ground!
The best part of the whole night was that it wasn't 85 degrees in their house!!!
