Morning playtime!

Now that Caroline crawls and sits up she is much more interactive with Charlotte. Sometimes this is a great thing and other times I want to pull my hair out! I never imagined I would have a crawling 5 1/2 month old! Charlotte really likes playing with Caroline, sometimes a bit too much! Caroline's favorite things to go and get are 1.) the dog and 2.) the wipes container. I'm not sure why I have so many toys for her!

Squeeze pouches!

Caroline has started to eat! She does not like to be spoon fed, yet when you give her anything to eat she shoves the whole thing in her mouth (such as a banana) and takes a bite. Charlotte always just gnawed happily. So, its mesh feeders and squeeze pouches for now! She doesn't seem to mind! Oh and Baylie has been walking around with mango puree all over her fur...

After dinner at Grandma and Grandpas

 We went to Grandma and Grandpa's for dinner before heading back home yesterday. After dinner Charlotte wanted to roast marshmallows, and have a big campfire and find sticks... only she says it with a "d" in front!!! Since we weren't willing or really able to do that, we went out to the deck and Grandma lighted up the grill for roasting. It didn't really work out how Charlotte had planned. Meanwhile, Mimi had Caroline in the water table for some fun splashing.

Grandma thought she was doing a great job with the marshmallows, however they were all over the grill, her and Charlotte. 

 Caroline did a great job of getting Mimi all wet with the watering can!

 I just love Caroline's little pudgy rolls!

We cleaned both babies up and put them in their jammies and headed home!!!

Visit with Grandma Eda

Yesterday morning we drove over to New York to visit Grandma Eda. She loved seeing the girls and commented several times on how tired she was after playing! They sure do tire you out! She was very impressed with Caroline's ability to sit up and crawl.

Charlotte was not impressed. Now she has to fend off her sister from grabbing everything she wants, and for some reason the baby knows what is her toys, and what isn't, and always goes for what she shouldn't!

 Like the iPad...

 Charlotte and Grandma played playdoh. Charlotte tried to keep it on the table the best she could. Grandma had flashbacks of another bossy granddaughter playing with her...

Caroline enjoyed taking in everything.

Grandma also commented several times at how heavy Caroline was. She only weighs 15lbs!

 Charlotte loves this blue bunny that sings obnoxious songs. She always finds it and insists on playing it constantly!

We had lots of fun and I know Grandma enjoyed seeing the girls!

Crawling baby... playing outside!

Yesterday morning we spent some time playing outside. Charlotte and I played some golf, it didn't last very long.

 Caroline played on the blanket but not for very long. She has started to crawl and will not stay in one place!

 Of course she wanted to see what was on the edge of the blanket... this weird green stuff that looked really good to eat...

We had to keep moving her back into the middle of the blanket!

 And then she would inch her way towards the edge again...

 Charlotte thought Caroline was being pretty silly and was very smily!

 Caroline is a thumb sucker. I thought we were cursed with the binkys, but a thumb you can't take away when you want to!

 Caroline has been trying all sorts of crawling methods, this is the head plank...

 It is nice to be able to be outside now that it isn't so hot in the mornings!
