Grammy and Papa's Visit

The weekend after we got home from the hospital Grammy and Papa came to visit! It was so nice to have another set of hands to help with the girls. They sure enjoyed themselves too. Grammy wanted some snuggle time with Killian of course.

Papa was the hero of the afternoon and gave the girls rides in the wagon all over the yard. They loved it.

 Killian made a short appearance outside before he was ready to go back in and sleep/snuggle with Mama.

 The girls love driving their Jeep down to the mailbox to get the mail. Killian made his first trip down, but in Daddy's arms. I bet he would have fit in the back of the Jeep but the way Charlotte drives it a bit scary! Chris recently came up with the idea to hook Baylie up to the Jeep too. They all think it's hysterical.

 Three generations! Chris is so happy to have a son to pass along the family name!

 Next up came time for a obstacle course race, which Charlotte loves. Usually Chris just times her, but this time Papa followed with Caroline in the wheelbarrow.

 Charlotte won by a landslide, but she may or may not have cheated...

 Round Two... Charlotte ended with a pout after Papa went around the play house the wrong way, or the right way depending on how you look at it as it wasn't clearly determined which was was right!

 Caroline bailed from the wheelbarrow and decided to go for a ride on her own.

 Charlotte just loves being silly with Grammy. Two peas in a pod!

One week old /Newborn photos

Killian turned one week old on the 11th (I am way behind, I know!) Chris had a haircut scheduled so Grandma and Grandpa came over to help out and get some snuggle time in too!

Later that afternoon we did a few newborn pictures, that carried into the next day! We have a photo like this of Chris with the girls so we of coursed needed one with Killian too!

 He was less than cooperative once we returned inside.

 This was before he pooped all over the comforter!

 Thursday we did a few more pictures outside. He wasn't a fan of the sun.

 We didn't get any that I loved for his announcement, but it never hurts to have lots of pictures!

Back To School

Last Monday, Charlotte started her second year of Pre-School. Part of the reason we haven't moved closer to Chris' work is because we wanted Charlotte to finish the second year of her Preschool. It's so nice to have her have the same teachers and kids this year, just an extra day is added! She was so excited to go back to school that it was nice not having to worry about another transition. Sunday night we had our back to school dinner. Charlotte got ready in the afternoon painting crowns for everyone to wear.

 After dinner she got to open a few "back to school presents", like new socks, hair clips, purple water bottle and a new placemat of the United States!

 Killian got his own crown too.

 And Caroline did too! We had special cookie sandwiches for dessert.

 Caroline got an animal placemat to start the school year!

 Monday morning Charlotte was ready to go with her new purple shirt and purple hair clip! Chris did a great job stepping in and doing drop off on her first day while I stayed home with Killian and got us ready for his doctors appointment.

 This meant Chris was also in charge of the camera at school. He did a great job!

 Charlotte and Mrs. P matched perfectly!

 Caroline was excited to be back at school too. She just loves it there.

 Charlotte put her person up on the attendance wall and was ready to go!

 Then she noticed a special sign hanging! She was so proud to tell everyone about her new baby brother!

 After Killian's doctor appt we had just enough time to drive and get Charlotte. She was so cute standing on the porch with her friends. (Usually she stays for lunch and I go inside to get her, but if you pick up at normal time they all wait on the porch and load the kids into the cars!)

 She reported that she had a great first day and yelled goodbye to her friends until we were out of sight!
