This afternoon the Navy Band was playing up in La Jolla so we decided to take lunch and go! We tried to give Charlotte an early nap, but it didn't work out, so she went without one... making for a very fun Charlotte! While we waited for the music to start she waited for someone to open the bag of chips for her!
I bought her this hat a long time ago and she would never wear it. Now she is obsessed with "Silly Hat's" and as long as I called it a silly hat she kept it on her head!
We had some lunch, well Charlotte ate mostly Pirate's Booty...
She was very fresh but in a crazy hyper mood!
She liked buying raffle tickets...
But then she got bored and Chris took her for a walk and to chase the birds!
Just to get a glimpse of where we were... the concert was on the other side of the sidewalk from the ocean!
As the concert went on, Charlotte got sillier!
She only took one potty break, and in an effort to complete my "Charlotte Foof's" book, I got a picture.
She started to get a bit grumpy.
Everything was better when Babo Skip took her to get an ice pop!
She sat quietly and ate her popsicle, then as soon as she was done she was up and running in circles around us again.
She made friends with the lady behind us and she would run, stop at the lady, blow her a kiss, wave, then keep running!
Charlotte was excited when it was time for the raffle tickets... but sadly we didn't win!
We switched sunglasses, which she thought was quite amusing. I really enjoyed wearing her sunglasses too.
I finally took a hitting, screaming exhausted two year old to the car. She literally ran in circles for at least an hour and a half, on no nap. In an effort to not have her wake up at 5 tomorrow morning we came home and watched a movie and she is now getting a bath and it will very shortly be bed time for one tired little girl!
