We got to New Hampshire late Thursday night. The plane ride was actually not too terrible... Charlotte didn't take a nap all day, and wouldn't sleep on the plane, but she was surprisingly extremely well behaved. It required constant entertainment, but we pulled it off! Corey flew home with us with Baylie and that certainly helped! Of course Chris called right as we were getting our bags to add to the craziness! Charlotte didn't fall asleep until we were about 20 minutes from home, at about midnight. We unloaded the whole car and brought everything in before I carried her in. She didn't even wake up! She was so glad in the morning to see where she was!

Of course it was raining on the day of the fair, but luckily we got Charlotte's package from Mimi and Grandma Great with her rain boots! Grammy and Papa showed Charlotte how fun it is to wear boots!

We hadn't even been here for 12 hours and Baylie came in from the woods with a giant gash on her shoulder, which required a trip to the vet, anesthesia and stitches. Poor Baylie just wants to go out and chase the chipmunks and could care less about the cut on her.
We decided to give the fair a shot even in the rain. It was misting a bit but that was all, and it was perfect because it wasn't crowded at all! Charlotte and Papa checked out the pig scramble!

We went into the children's barn and Charlotte loved the piglets.

And the rabbits...

And the calf...

We eventually ventured on to the cow barn. Papa got stuck carrying Charlotte and he realized how heavy she is! He tried to give his arms a break by putting her on his shoulders!

We watched the horses a bit...

... then moved onto rides!

Grammy and I went to get tickets and we came back and Papa and Charlotte were already on the Carousel, and she wasn't crying! The man let them on for free!

The man let her on the cars for free too... It was a good thing because it didn't last for long...

We finally used the tickets for Charlotte and Papa to go on the bees.

We moved on and had some dinner. Charlotte didn't want to sit still for too long, and I had changed her out of her rain boots because she wasn't really walking, and they kept falling off. No sooner than I did that she went and found the biggest puddle to play in.

It was all fun and games until she fell face first into it.

We stripped her down and got some fried dough. That made things better!

We had a great time at the fair!
