Charlotte's 3 Years Old Pictures (A little late!)

I finally got around to taking Charlotte's three year pictures today. I had every intention to take them before her birthday, but I was so pregnant it just didn't happen. This morning seemed like a great time. Charlotte was pretty cooperative. I did get a few pouts and some typical Charlotte faces, but that's alright. She had fun doing it. We can't believe she is three.

Charlotte's favorite things:

Color: Purple

Song: Changes from day to day, but current favorites include Bingo, Doggie in the Window, Water world (all from KidSongs) and then she also loves her Daddy's techno music and Taylor Swift.

Best Friends: She will give a whole rambling on about her best friends. Caroline, Sy Guy and Sis Sis, Joli and Markus, Zoey and Hayden, Mai Mai, Josie, Ruby, Anna and then there are her grown up best friends, Jonas, Kelly, Ellen, Lynsie, and the list goes on.

Favorite food: Cheese. Mac and Cheese, Blue Cheese, any type of cheese. She DESPISES Chocolate. Don't even offer.

Books: A Visitor for Bear, Disney books, The Lady with the Alligator Purse, Curious George.

Movie: KidSongs, Winnie the Pooh, Franklin, Curious George.

Animal: Horses!

Toy: Dollhouse, Kitchen, Ponies

Charlotte loves to dance but refuses to dance in dance class. She loves her baby sister and will do anything to help except changing her diaper. She even helped unbuckle her in the car (while we were driving!). She will wipe her spit up, pick her boogers and pick the fuzz out of her toes, all which Caroline finds to be extremely fun. She loves to play with her and is the sweetest big sister, often times telling us Caroline is her best friend and will sing "Sweet Caroline" to her whenever she is upset. She loves to dance with her Daddy to his techno music and run through the house naked before a bath or a shower. She LOVES horses. She loves her Neh Neh (blanket) and her Woof Woof, Ellie and her purple bunny. She is a stubborn, strong willed 3 year old who is also very shy around strangers and in situations with lots of people. She is a huge snuggle bug and will often give you hugs and kisses without being asked. She loves to cook, she can make guacamole almost all by herself and will make her own cream cheese and jam sandwiches, eating half the cream cheese off the knife in the process. She is horrible about going to bed and refuses to nap often falling asleep in the car at random times of the day because she is so tired. She loves to make her stuffed animals talk and play with each other and she sleeps with about 15 different ones, there is no room in her bed for her! She can ride a tricycle (thank you preschool!) and loves her power wheels Jeep and her sandbox. She has a blast feeding the worms our juicing pulp and digs through the raised garden beds to put a baby worm back with his Mommy and Daddy. She loves to be the center of attention and loves to talk. She is VERY bossy. (I have no idea where any of those traits came from!) We can't imagine our lives without her! We love you to pieces Charlotte!

A visit from Aunt Pam!

This morning we went to pick up Aunt Pam from her layover in San Diego! (She is a flight attendant and rarely gets San Diego layovers, so it was a real treat!) Caroline even wore a bow in her little bit of hair!We went to lunch at the Corvette Diner. Charlotte loved it. She had been once when she was a newborn, and again as a baby, so this was really the first time she enjoyed it! Chris even won her not one but two Pez packages from the grabby vending machine thing. (have no idea what they are actually called!)
Her favorite part was her purple balloon!
We went back to our house and hung out for a while. Aunt Pam loved holding Caroline since she was asleep the whole time at lunch!
Caroline loved blowing spit bubbles.
Aunt Pam loved the roses, so we took a picture in front of them. She was trying to get Caroline down to see the flowers!

Then Caroline had a poop explosion and needed to be changed. I luckily had another outfit that coordinated with the bow. Sometimes I am just so proud of myself!!!
Aunt Pam so kindly took the first picture of us as a family of four, and Baylie. I can't believe it's been 7 weeks and we didn't have a family picture!
Daddy even took the camera and got one of me! What a surprise!
We had such a nice afternoon (which was a lovely change from the gigantic temper tantrum Charlotte threw at dance class this morning!). It was so nice to see Aunt Pam!

Swimming and Play Date!

On Tuesday it was very warm so while Charlotte was at school I filled up her kiddie pool. She was very excited to come home and go swimming.Baylie loved the water too.

Yesterday Charlotte requested that her and Caroline wear matching shirts. So we put on the new matching sister shirts from the Easter Bunny.
It wasn't long before Caroline spit up on hers.
I got another feet shot! I think I like this one better!
Charlotte loves playing with Caroline whenever she is awake!
We had a quick outfit change due to spit up, and Caroline was pretty in purple!

Zoey, Hayden and Maisie came over to play. As if the kids don't see enough of each other at school! They all loved the jeep!

In an effort for the mommies to eat lunch, we gave the kids freeze pops. They loved it!

Here are some pictures from my phone from the past month-ish. While Mom was here we went out to dinner and of course had to get ice cream. Yum.We also spent a good deal of time throwing pennies in the fountain.
We loved having mom here!

Charlotte loved tye-dying at the farmers market!

Caroline is getting bigger every day!

Charlotte has pretty much given up naps, so she has quiet time instead. This is what happens when I don't pay attention to what she is doing at quiet time!

Caroline likes taking walks to the park!
She is a good helper grocery shopping!
Charlotte got to play with her friend Anna and take her for a ride in her jeep!
Charlotte wanted Caroline to watch her movie with her...
