School Christmas Party and Friends

I'll start with the second half first since that is how the pictures uploaded. Tuesday after school we headed over to New York to celebrate Christmas with Amy, Jim and the kids. Caroline loved playing under their giant tree!
Molly is so great with the kids! Charlotte just loves her! I love the look on her face... I have that reaction to Caroline quite a bit!
I can't believe how big everyone is getting!
The gang; Rosie, Maggie, Charlotte, Molly, Aidan, Caroline and Rory. And I thought it was hard to get two kids to look at the camera...

Earlier that day we had Charlotte's Christmas party at School.

Charlotte was so excited to see Santa she kept jumping up for her turn!

She told him very quickly what she wanted, Legos.
Caroline still wasn't such a fan of Santa.

Charlotte has a great preschool class!
They entertained us with some singing and dancing! It was wonderful!

Caroline 10 months!

Caroline turned 10 months old today! I thought for sure she would be walking by now, but she is very content to crawl, since she is so good at it. She will take a couple steps towards you and then jump and fall. It is pretty funny. She is an absolute wild wild little baby. She is definitely Chris' baby! She likes to climb everything, including out of her high chair, and has no fear in doing so. We have figured out she is a horrible teether, just like her sister, and is downright miserable while her tooth is coming in. She continues to wake up a few times a night to have "mommy time", and although I hate the interrupted sleep, it is the only time of day when she actually is still. She loves blueberries the most, and just discovered strawberries are yummy too. She refuses to take a bottle, throwing it, or squeezing it so it goes everywhere. Charming. She is one spunky little girl!

From Thanksgiving...

In my best efforts to catch up before the year is over, here is a post from the week before Thanksgiving. We went to Charlotte's Thanksgiving Feast at school and she did a great job singing!
That weekend we went over to Lucy's (Grammy's college roommate) and had a wonderful get together with everyone. The kids loved listening to Uncle Justin read books about airplanes.
Jack, Charlotte, who are only 4 days apart, Caroline and her best bud Hannah!
Lucy has some great spots for taking pictures!

During the flag football game the little girls went off to do girl things while everyone else wrestled. Although Charlotte does love a good wrestling match!
We had such a fun weekend!

Christmas Eve

This year we had a very busy Christmas Eve. Actually, it always is busy! We started off our morning bright and early with a trip to the Italian Store to get goodies for our Christmas Day Antipasti. It is a tradition that we started a long time ago, and although my mom would be just as happy not going anymore, Chris is used to going and insists we go! Then in the afternoon Chris headed down to get Grandma Eda and Grammy and Papa arrived to spend Christmas with us! Then we headed up to Babo Skip's to visit and open presents. Charlotte got a pair of purple snowshoes, just in time for the snow! Caroline loved Babo Skip's Santa hat!

Chris and Papa were silly as always.
Grandma Eda just loves Chris... and she was cold so she needed him to keep her warm!
Charlotte got lots of new books and was anxious for someone to read them to her!

Then we headed back to Mom's for dinner. The girls played and we tried to get them to bed early since we knew we would have an early morning once Santa came!
