On Saturday we went to Carson's first birthday party! Charlotte was very excited to celebrate. It was at a park by their house with a playground and she certainly kept herself entertained!
Her favorite part was the cupcakes, cars and planes and the stop signs that were on top of the cupcakes!
Since she had only worn her birthday dress once (on her birthday!) I decided to put it on her before she outgrows it!
She had the BEST time playing baseball with Daddy. She is actually pretty good. She eventually decided that it was a better idea to sit on the bench and play so she didn't have to run all over for the ball! Daddy did a good job making sure he threw it right into her glove!
Charlotte was very strict about the fact that Daddy had to stay put while she came to tell me something. Clearly he didn't listen and kept inching closer and closer. She of course thought it was hilarious.
We then moved on to the leaves. When we were home in the fall the leaves were just starting to fall off the trees so we didn't really get to play in them! Now that it is December in California there are leaves to play with! She loved putting them in Daddy's hair!
We had a great morning and she just loves her "Gaga".
After a nap we headed to South Park for their holiday walkabout. Charlotte had a blast listening to the youth choir. After they sang two songs Charlotte turned to me and very seriously announced "They no sing, La La La". (Deck the halls is her favorite Christmas song). We walked around, had some pizza then took a trolley ride through South Park and looked at all the lights! It was such a nice day with just the three of us!!
