Baking Cookies!

Tonight after dinner at Grandma and Grandpa's we made some cookies to send to Daddy. Charlotte had never seen Hershey Kisses before, and she didn't know at first what they were! She took a great liking to unwrapping them, putting the kiss in the bowl, and the pretty foil on the side. I forgot my camera, so I took a bunch of pictures with my phone!
She was very precise in separating the foil from the kisses. After unwrapping a few she would look into the bowl to see if there was any foil that didn't belong and take it all out, leaving only kisses. She definitely got that trait from her father!
Next we made the cookies. Charlotte was more interested with the sugar than the cookies, but tried to roll the squishy ball of dough into the sugar. It ended up more like a flattened patty than a ball...
She loved watching them bake through the oven door!

She was a bit disappointed that I wouldn't let her put the kisses on the top, but the pan was too hot! They came out great!
Before her bath she was still mad the I wouldn't let her help, and refused to eat a cookie, but once she was done with her bath she was eager to eat one... figures.
And once again, she was covered in chocolate!
Once she got cleaned up Grandma put on a Christmas show for her and we all relaxed a bit!
Then Daddy called and we told him all about our fun night!
