Christmas Party!

Last weekend we went to Amy and Jim's for their Christmas party. Charlotte started off in an awful mood but gradually got happier.Rory wanted Charlotte to play with her so bad, but she just wanted her juice and to pout.
It didn't help that it was naptime, and Charlotte skipped her nap! Molly was doing her very best to get Charlotte to smile and play.

Charlotte finally spent some time by herself observing and then was a bit happier!
She enjoyed playing with the tree and ornaments.
The big surprise of the day was that Santa came to visit! He brought Charlotte a new puzzle that she just loved!
She didn't cry... but she didn't smile either!
Molly got the new Taylor Swift CD from Santa and Charlotte became her new best friend! When I asked her who was on the CD she said "Taylor!".
Every year we always get a family picture with Santa. We have ones of Chris and I from about 4 years ago! Crazy! Charlotte wouldn't smile but oh well!
Molly got Charlotte to go sit with Santa again.
Then Charlotte got brave and went to play with Santa with her new puzzle!
She eventually warmed up to Molly and gave her kisses!
She became very playful after dinner!
She enjoyed reading books on the kitchen floor.
And she really enjoyed the peppermint ice cream!!!
Molly took my camera and took a bunch of pictures with me in them!
Charlotte found the play camera and knew exactly what to do with it!
Charlotte didn't want any kisses from Mama though! Little stinker!
She eventually found Rosie's potty seat and thought it was the greatest toy ever!



Eventually Rosie joined in that the little girls had a blast with the potty!
We had a great time at the party! I forgot to bring pajamas so I kept Charlotte up on the way home, it required lots of yelling CHARLOTTE!!! and SANTA!!! and she would perk up! She went right to sleep when we got home!
