About a week and a half ago we put up our tree and put the lights on. Charlotte thought it was really neat!
We swapped the cocktail table with the small one from downstairs because the tree is so big, and it has double sided drawers. Charlotte thinks they are so fun, but Grandpa was sitting on the other side and didn't like the fact that Charlotte kept pulling the drawer through. Of course Charlotte picked up on this and continued to annoy him, and Grandpa continued to annoy her, which drove Mimi, Grandma and I crazy! She would run around the other side of the table and tell Grandpa "NO NO NO NO NO".
Not only did Charlotte fight with Grandma but she took all of Mimi's cards out of the drawer too and wasn't exactly gentle with them.
Charlotte enjoyed the fact that the tree was up in the house. When she walked in and first saw it she ran back into the kitchen to get Mimi and took her by the hand back to the tree where she exclaimed "wowwwww..."
We eventually had dinner and Charlotte was more interested in sitting on the bench with Mimi and Grandma and making grumpy faces at me!
...or smiley ones!
She loves her Great Grandma!
Charlotte was getting ornery, so I let her open her package from Lisa. She was thrilled.
Charlotte says "Thanks Lisa, I love my new
picture pillow!".
She was so happy to have a pillow with Lisa, Joe, Joli and Markus on it!
Charlotte watched Mimi put up all the lights. We ran out of lights about 3/4 of the way up the tree. The next night we finally finished with 18 strings of lights!!!
On to decorating...
