Caroline's First Day of Preschool

This morning was a big morning. Caroline was thrilled that she would be going to school today. Charlotte helped her get ready to go and helped her pack her backpack. Amazingly they were out the door on time!

She just couldn't wait. She also insisted on wearing her backpack even though it is about as big as she is!

She was also excited to ride in the car with Charlotte and Chris. She waves goodbye every morning and she longs to go with them. Chris will bring her one morning a week. 

Meanwhile Killian got up and set to work. He wanted to color, which he actually did fairly well, especially I had time to focus on just him!

I think Baylie was pleased the girls were gone as she then had a nice spot to snuggle up!

Chris dropped Charlotte off as usual and then took Caroline!

Chris said she ran in and didn't even look back! He had to go find her to say goodbye!

Keeping Killian happy and busy until noon was no easy task. I am still trying to figure out how to finagle this so it works for everyone. We made do and went to the bookstore to kill time for a bit and a quick stop at the store before getting Caroline.

Caroline had a good day. Her teacher reported that she "likes to climb things". Such as scaling the cabinets to get to the faucet because she can't reach. Oh yes, she is an independent little thing! 

The littles took naps and then we got Charlotte from after school, picked up a pizza and headed home. 

Chris was working late so we did an early dinner and early bath and then played for a while before bed. Charlotte entertained her brother and sister by shaking her bum in the doorway before getting in. I'm not sure if we should be worried?!?

Killian also is 18 months old today! It's hard to believe that Caroline was his age when we had him! How time flies!
