Time Change

Last night was Daylight Savings and while it is wonderful to have an extra hour of daylight at the end of the day it is so hard to adjust the first day! By the time we were ready to do anything it was almost 11:00! Chris needed new jeans and the Gap outlet was having a sale so we headed up and dropped him off. I took the kids to the grocery store as a second best alternative to the clothing store! Caroline was suited up in her bet attire, a sun hat and binoculars. She was in rare form throughout the store and it didn't help that every corner we turned we saw someone we knew and stopped to say hi! We finally made it out... Alive... And went to get Chris.
After naps we went over to Skate. The kids have decided they would much rather just play on the ice. Mr. Stewart got stuck pulling them around on his hockey stick which they loved!
I think Caroline and Killian are going to be our two hockey players.

Charlotte would much rather make snowmen. She kept her helmet on the whole time also... Never hurts to be extra safe!
It was a gorgeous afternoon, after so many weeks of below zero temperatures, 30 degrees feels like a heat wave!
It was 5:30 by the time we headed home as we were so confused by the time change. The two little princesses waved out the sunroof coming up the driveway while Killian helped Dad drive.
We had dinner and got ready for bed. Killian is really now letting us know exactly what he wants, throwing tantrums and copying the girls. Caroline likes to get lotion put on after bath, like a snowmans buttons, three drops on her belly. Killian has been watching and now lays down next to her and waits for his snowman lotion too!
Tomorrow is a school day for the girls and back to work for Chris! Hopefully everyone adjusts to the time change!
