She opened a few presents, a doll carrier bag from Caroline and a sleeping bag for her doll from Killian. She also got a "6" shirt. We had celebratory cinnamon buns with some left over purple icing from the cake and she was off to school!
It was wellness day at school today, as well as a ski day so she only had a half day. They were doing yoga, karate, nutrition and snowshoeing.
Meanwhile, Caroline and Killian both got ready for school. Caroline was thrilled to be back and see Ms. Judy. She has no issues going to school whatsoever!
Killian had his first day today also. He was a little clingy/shy at first but it didn't take him long to get down and play. I kissed him goodbye and he kept right on playing!
I ran home to quickly exercise, shower, gather up Charlottes ski stuff and head back to get Charlotte. I told her I would pick her up early as she hates snowshoeing and I thought she might enjoy a birthday lunch. She had a great morning and I got these lovely pictures of her at school!
We had lunch and she opened her present from Grandma, tickets to see Annie! She was so excited. We ran to pick up the littles and Charlotte was happy as she has been begging me to go see their school.
Chris met us and took her up to skiing. She did a great job and wanted to keep skiing once they were finished. Chris let her ski for another 20 minutes or so and then they headed home. Charlotte got the mail and loved her card from Grammy and Papa! She couldn't figure out how Grammy got her on the paper!
We quickly finished packing up and headed over to Grandma's.
Chris was up until 2am last night making the clay unicorn topper for Charlotte's cake. It was beautiful. He did such a nice job.
We sang Happy Birthday, as well as extended verses. Charlotte loved it.
It was so sad to cut into such a beautiful cake! Luckily Charlotte can save the unicorn!
Killian couldn't wait for his piece of cake as he was getting bored and looking for something to keep him busy. Smushing cake is always a favortite past time!
We moved on to presents. Charlotte got some clay, some more beads, a ukelele (so she can be like Taylor Swift) and she was happy when she was finished. She didn't know it was a test. She has been saying she wants the American Girl Doll "Caroline" since before Christmas. Of course Grandma will get her whatever she wants.
I hid the package as she knows the shape of a doll box. She didn't see me put the present down and thought it was pretty magical that it just appeared! She couldn't have been more happy when she opened and saw Caroline's face!
Killian had fun with the tennis ball... He is so easy to please... Sometimes...
Charlotte had a great great Birthday. It's so hard to believe she is 6!!

Awe!! What a wonderful day for Charlotte! And you got some time to yourself! Yahoo!!!
